New videos from the park

Here are a couple of edits made by some visitors to the park.

First up an edit made not long after the park opened by some Leicester heads.

And thank you for that Emery. Check out http://www.clickskate.co.uk for Wolverhampton shenanigans.

Sorry I can't figure out how to link properly so you'll have to copy and paste the links into the address bar to watch them. I'll figure it out soon.

In a bit.

Burton Skatepark in Sidewalk

I'm a bit late with the news and you probably already know, but Burton skatepark has a Terrain Spotting in the new Sidewalk (August issue) written by the beard and featuring our friends from Derby.

Thanks

Well Burton skatepark is now open as you all know and it's amazing here's just a quick thank you to the people involved in the project, because without them it wouldn't have been built.

So thank you too;

The ladies from the Council: Corinne O'Hare, Charlotte Bodger and Bethan Golland

The guys at Freestyle: Steve Crawford and John Flood. Also the builders who did a good job.

Everyone who came to any meetings and supported the park.

Official opening day information

July 22nd

The council have booked Team Extreme to come to the park on the opening day. They will be organising demos (one skateboader, one bmxer, one inliner) and competitions throughout the day. Prizes have been donated by Freestyle skateparks.

In addition to this there will be a burger van, ice cream van and a bouncy castle.
